The detail that matters more than the visual refresh is the compatibility line Apple drew. iOS 27 itself will run on devices as old as the iPhone 11 and iPhone SE 2, but the Apple Intelligence features layered on top — the ones most likely to shape what users expect from a new app — require an iPhone 15 Pro or newer.
