Lovable, the Stockholm “vibe coding” platform, is reportedly in talks to raise $300M at a $13.2B valuation — exactly double the $6.6B it was worth when it closed its Series B just seven months ago, in December 2025. Menlo Ventures, fresh off a new $3B fund, is expected to lead. TechCrunch and several other outlets confirmed the talks on 8 July; terms haven’t closed and could still change, but the direction of travel is clear.
We flagged Lovable passing $500M in annualised revenue a week earlier, on a run rate of roughly $8M in new ARR a month with just 146 people. What the valuation talks add is the investor read on that growth: doubling a private valuation in under seven months is a bet that this isn’t a plateau, it’s early. Lovable’s enterprise customer list — Workday, Asana, Nvidia among them — is part of that case; so is the fact that Replit, a comparable “build software by describing it” platform, was valued at $9B just months ago. Money is chasing the same search trend that’s been climbing in Google data all year: “build an app with AI,” “AI app builder,” “vibe coding.”
