These terms cover your use of buildapps.co.uk. BuildApps is a trading name of Love the Idea Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 11339413), registered office 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX.
Data protection and processing
BuildApps is run by Love The Idea, which is registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) as a data controller, registration number ZB190313. We handle personal data in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, and the EU GDPR where it applies.
We process data in the UK, the European Union and the United States. We use these service providers to run the site:
- Cloudflare (worldwide, including the UK, EU and US): hosts the site and delivers every page and image.
- Formward (European Union, Sweden): receives contact form messages and emails them to us.
- Google Analytics, from Google LLC (United States): measures how the site is used. It sets cookies only if you accept them on our banner.
- DiceBear (Germany, delivered through bunny.net’s global network): draws the small app icons on our pages. Your browser loads them directly from DiceBear.
When personal data is transferred out of the UK or the EU, we rely on the safeguards in our service providers' data processing terms, such as standard contractual clauses (with the UK Addendum) or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension.
